Clouds will be coming and going before our next storm system moves in this weekend

TONIGHT: Temperatures will remain mild this evening under partly cloudy skies until a second cold front in as many days moves through. There may be enough lift with this latest front that we could see some scattered sprinkles, but only enough to dampen vehicles overnight. Temperatures will fall from the mid 40s into the mid 30s tonight with winds turning out of the north by daybreak.

THURSDAY: Heading out the door on Thursday, you’ll want that jacket with wind chills below freezing. As an upper-level ridge builds in place, a mix of sun and clouds will turn into mostly sunny skies by the afternoon as temperatures climb back into the middle 50s.

EXTENDED: Quiet weather sticks around on Friday. With plentiful sunshine, temperatures will make it back into the upper 50s and low 60s even with winds out of the north. We’re tracking a change in the pattern heading into the weekend, as our ridge responsible for a bright Friday breaks down. Most of the day on Saturday looks salvageable, but there is a chance of showers heading into the afternoon and evening. The better chance of seeing rain looks to be throughout the day on Sunday through Monday. Temperatures this weekend will be very Spring-like, in the low 60s, but cooler air moves in on Tuesday behind this system.
