Spot showers possible through today, with seasonal temperatures
TUESDAY: We will see some sporadic showers in the morning, with the best chance west of HWY 63. Temperatures will still make it into the low 50s once again by the afternoon, despite mostly cloudy skies. Spot showers can be expected through the afternoon, but the bulk of the rainfall will hold off until the evening and overnight hours. Rainfall amounts for most of the viewing area look relatively light, around 0.25″, but areas to the northwest could see up to 0.50″.
TONIGHT: Spotty showers continue through the night as a quick moving area of low pressure pulls east. Temepratures only drop into the low 40s with winds transitioning out of the southwest up to 11 mph.
EXTENDED: A few showers will linger into the morning on Wednesday before finally moving out leaving us dry for the afternoon. Behind this system, we’ll be tracking an upper-level ridge building in place, bringing the return of quiet weather to close out the week. Clouds will break heading into Thursday with that sunshine continuing into Friday with temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s. Our next chance of rain moves in Saturday night and sticks around through the day on Sunday. Check back with ABC 17 News on-air and online for the latest forecast.
