Firefighters battle engulfed home in Boone County
Firefighters responded to a home fully engulfed in flames in Boone County early Tuesday morning.
Neighbors called in the fire on North Boothe Lane and Highway 40. The home was completely engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. Columbia and Boone County fire crews responded to the scene.
Fire officials had no reason to believe anyone was inside the home, crews on scene said.
More than a dozen firefighters were fighting the fire.
