SEMA downgrades operation level as flood projections decline
Rising flood water continued to cause issues in parts of mid-Missouri Monday with sections of Missouri 94 closed down between Mokane and Portland due to the rising water.

However, the State Emergency Management Agency downgraded it’s operations to a level 4, which involves “enhanced monitoring.”
This is a reduction in operation from the Level 3 that was declared Friday morning by Gov. Mike Parson.
“We are continuing to coordinate with the National Weather Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other local partners to coordinate resources as requested to the local communities affected,” said SEMA spokeswoman Caty Eisterhold.
