Home a total loss after weekend fire
A home north of Centralia was considered a total loss after a fire broke out Saturday night.
Little Dixie Fire Protection District and Boone County Fire officials responded to the scene with multiple units. Two people were home at the time of the fire and were able to get out of the home safely, said a Little Dixie spokesperson.
It took crews more than three hours to put out the fire.
The cause of the fire was still being investigated Monday morning.
