Dry start to the work week before rain arrives tomorrow

MONDAY: The work week starts off on a good note, with temperatures near seasonal. Low-to-Mid 50s can be expected by the afternoon with sunny skies. Very light breezes will remain out of the north tomorrow.

TONIGHT: Clouds build into the overnight hours ahead of our next system. Temperatures drop into the mid 30s with easterly winds up to 5-8 mph.

EXTENDED: Our next chance at rain arrives as a weak spin of low pressure approaches the region Tuesday. Clouds will increase through Tuesday morning, with light rain showers increasing after lunch time. Rain will be sporadic and slowly increase in coverage through the evening as the main cold front approaches. It will be a cold rain across the area Tuesday evening. Rainfall amounts will be light, up to .25″ for most of Mid-Missouri. Areas to the northwest may see closer to .50″ with this system. Spot showers will continue into Wednesday before we dry by the end of the work week. Thursday and Friday looks sunny with highs in the 60s. Our next disturbance brings us more rain into the weekend.
