Head-on collision in Jeff City leaves one woman in the hospital
One woman is in the hospital after a head-on collision occured in Jefferson City. Shimera Coleman, 24, was taken by Life Flight to University Hospital in Columbia after suffering serious injuries in the wreck.
Coleman had been driving eastbound in the westbound lanes on U.S. 54 westbound at Pleasant Hill Road.
The other driver, Jason Stevens, 30, suffered minor injuries in the crash.
ABC 17 News contacted University Hospital, which said it did not have a patient under that name.
