Longtime Columbia College volleyball coach no longer with the school

Longtime Columbia College volleyball coach Melinda Wrye-Washington is no longer with the school, according to a release.

Wrye-Washington had been with Columbia College since 2000. She led the Cougars to two national championships (2001 & 2015). In 19 seasons at the helm, Wrye-Washington guided CC to a 719-112 record.

The Cougars went 42-5 this past season. Columbia College lost a thrilling five-set match to Park in the NAIA Championship.

A release said Columbia College is searching for a replacement immediately.
