Breezy conditions stick around to end the week
FRIDAY: Cloud cover will be holding on tough this morning, but as we head into the afternoon, we’ll start to filter some of those clouds out. Temperatures will start off cooler than the last couple of mornings, and will only manage to climb back into the low to middle 40s this afternoon. The breezy conditions we have been feeling the last couple of days will start to improve, but we’ll still see gusts out of the northwest around 25-30 mph.
TONIGHT: Winds should finally start to back off into the evening as high pressure starts to move in. Underneath mostly clear skies temperatures will cool off into the mid to upper 20s for lows.
EXTENDED: Those mostly clear skies will continue into the weekend. That sunshine will help temperatures warm up slightly, into the low to mid 50s, which will feel better without having to battle the wind. Mornings will still be chilly, waking up to upper 20s and low 30s. The majority of the upcoming week looks quiet, as temperatures gradually warm into the mid to upper 50s by Wednesday. Our next shot of rain will move in Tuesday night and Wednesday, as a weak front moves through. Check back with ABC 17 News on-air and online for the latest forecast.
