Woman accused of having more than 100 THC vaping pods

Cole County prosecutors charged a woman with delivery of a controlled substance after authorities said they found drugs in her home.

Jefferson City police responded to Markesha Rivers’ home on E. Dunklin Street last week to serve an arrest warrant, according to a probable cause statement.

Police said officers searched the home and found 109 packages of THC vaping pods and more than $12,000 in cash.

According to court documents, Rivers is from Tennessee and has no known permanent ties to Jefferson City. Documents said this is the second time within a week a search warrant has been served at her home and drugs were seized.
