Missouri House committee launches budget measures

The Missouri House of Representatives’ Budget Committee began its process of approving the FY2020 state budget Monday.

The annual group of 13 appropriations bills were officially introduced in the committee, then after a brief period of recess, the committee began introducing and voting on amendments.

A main area of concerns from House Democrats is the GOP proposal of $100 million in general revenue funds to be allocated to road and bridge construction.
