Elementary school back open after crews investigate gas leak
An elementary school in mid-Missouri opened back up to students and staff Thursday after crews investigated a possible gas leak.
North Callaway School District Superintendent Brian Garner said carbon monoxide was removed from Williamsburg Elementary School after a leak was reported by staff on Wednesday morning.
No students were sickened by the gas leak.
According to the school district, the heating and air conditioning system has been repaired and is working properly.
