Police investigate incident on Rice Road

Boone County Joint Communications tweeted Monday night just after 9:30 p.m. that Columbia police were investigating an incident on Rice Road.

According to the tweet, Rice was closed from Cass Drive to Osage Drive during the “police incident.”

ABC 17 News crews said when they arrived in the area, the scene was already cleared. Reporters saw 2 CPD cars leave the area.

ABC 17 News has reached out to Columbia police for more information, and will have updates as soon as they are available.
