Fire damages condominiums in Osage Beach
No one was injured after a building caught fire near the Lake of the Ozarks on Friday evening.
KSPR reports the Osage Beach Fire Protection District responded to the fire at Compass Pointe condominium complex around 6 p.m. Fire officials said preliminary investigation showed the fire started with a barbecue grille on the back patio of a unit.
Four children died in a fire at Compass Pointe in 2015. Fire officials said the cause of that fire would never be known due to the extent of the damage.
