Man accused of growing marijuana plants in Boonville home
A man has been charged after Boonville police said officer found marijuana plants inside a home.
Treyvon D. Korte, 18, of Boonville, was arrested Feb. 5at a home in the 500 block of West St.
According to court documents obtained by ABC 17 News, police found 12 juvenile marijuana plants growing inside an aquarium in the basement of the home. The home is located about 2,000 feet from State Fair Community College on Third Street.
Police said Korte was also possession of a gram of marijuana at the time of his arrest.
Korte is charged in Cooper County with a felony count of manufacturing a controlled substance near a school.
