Callaway County Sheriff’s Office arrests Kansas fugitive

A Kansas fugitive was arrested in Callaway County on Friday.

Amber Sager, 24, of Fulton was charged with two counts of felony child abuse, according to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office.

The charges are the result of an investigation conducted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office and the State of Missouri Children’s Division. The Fulton Police Department also assisted with the investigation.

Deputies located and arrested Sager at a residence in the 5000 block of County Road 204 near Fulton. At the time of Sager’s arrest, deputies found she was a fugitive in the State of Kansas wanted for a felony threat offense.

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is ongoing and Sager could face further charges.

She is being held without bond.
