Two people arrested on drug charges after police search Sedalia home

Two people face drug charges after police searched a home in Sedalia on Friday.

Richard A. Kurtz, 38, and Michele L. Bradley, 23, were both taken into custody at home in the 600 block of W. 2nd Street. Three other people found inside of the home were released.

According to the Sedalia Police Department, officers found meth and items used to traffic drugs.

Bradley faces a possible charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Kurtz faces possible charges of distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At last check, prosecutors haven’t filed formal charges against Kurtz or Bradley.
