North Carolina man charged following drug bust on Interstate 70 in mid-Missouri
Prosecutors have filed charges against a North Carolina man after he’s arrested during a drug bust on Interstate 70 in Callaway County.
Robbie A. Roberts, 33, of Hope Mills, North Carolina, is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, troopers stopped Roberts on I-70 around midnight on Feb. 14 for following another vehicle too closely.

Troopers said more than 11 ounces of marijuana, THC wax, shatter, edibles, drug paraphernalia, two vape pens loaded with THC oil, nearly 40 pills of oxycodone and $26,320 in cash were found in Roberts’ rental car.
