Firefighters determine fire at Fulton apartment complex accidental

The Fulton Fire Department determined a fire at an apartment complex was accidental, according to a news release.

Firefighters responded to a fire at a two-story fourplex in the 300 block of East St. Eunice Road around 2:15 p.m on Friday,, officials said.

According to the release, firefighters arrived at the scene to find an active fire in the second story of the building.

Officials said everyone got out of the building and the fire was under control within minutes.

The flames were contained to one room, but the apartment below sustained water damage, according to the release.

The fire caused about $30,000 in damage, fire officials said.
