Multiple school districts close due to freezing rain

Multiple school districts in the mid-Missouri area canceled classes Wednesday due to freezing rain and poor driving conditions.

Some of those districts include Mexico Public Schools, Centralia Public Schools, Fulton Public Schools and Moberly Public Schools. A full list of closings can be found here.

Drivers should check the Missouri Department of Transportation traveler map for road conditions here.

A winter weather advisory was issued in Boone County starting at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday.
