Mizzou women’s hoops falls to LSU on the road
The Mizzou women’s basketball team lost 61-51 to LSU on the road Monday night. The Tigers are now 16-7 overall and 5-4 in the SEC.
Sophie Cunningham led the way with 14 points, but she fouled out of the game in the fourth quarter. Amber Smith and Lauren Aldridge each had ten points. Cierra Porter finished with seven points and eight rebounds.
Mizzou was up 23-21 after the first half, but LSU outscored the Tigers 40-28 in the second half to ultimately win by ten.
Up next – the Tigers will host No. 18 Texas A&M on Thursday at 6 p.m.
