Endangered silver advisory canceled for Callaway County man
UPDATE: Callaway County authorities confirm that Clifford Borgelt was found safe.
According to a press release overnight, “Mr. Borgelt has been located by law enforcement in Columbia and is safe. Family members are enroute to reunite with him.”
ORIGINAL: The Callaway County Sheriff’s Department is looking for an 89-year-old man who went missing from 3700 County Road 227 in Fulton at 12:00 pm Sunday.
Authorities say Clifford Borgelt was last seen attending church and he was believed to be in route to Fulton.
His vehicle is a Beige 2014 Buick Lacrosse with Missouri license plate FB7H2N. The car was last seen at the Prairie Chapel Methodist Church in Millersburg.
Borgelt is described as a white male, 150 lbs, white hair, blue eyes and 5 feet 9 inches tall.
