The nicest weekend we’ve see so far in 2019 taking shape

SATURDAY: Clouds in parts of Oklahoma and Arkansas are slowly filtering into Mid-Missouri this morning. We could see some drizzle develop this morning with this batch of cloud cover and some fog as warm air moves in over top of snow cooled ground. This afternoon, as that warm air continues to move in, temperatures will make it into the mid to upper 50s. Places further northeast may struggle to warm out of the 40s with snow continuing to melt.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies stick around tonight along with winds out of the south. Those two factors work in tandem to keep temperatures in the mid to upper 40s overnight, setting the stage for an even warmer day on Sunday.

EXTENDED: Winds look to pick up a bit heading into the day on Sunday, becoming breezy at times. It will be feeling more like Spring as temperatures rise into the low to mid 60s in the afternoon. Light rain looks possible Sunday night into Monday morning with temperatures topping out in the 50s again before we return to reality. A cold front knocks temperatures back into the 40s Tuesday along with another chance of light rain. With temperatures falling into the upper 30s Wednesday afternoon, we could see a wintry mix, with a better chance at snow by Thursday.
