Authorities arrest truck driver after crash involving school bus

No one was injured after a pickup truck crashed into a school bus that was dropping students off in Osage County.

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office said the wreck happened on Highway D near County Road 705.

Authorities said 10 children from the Belle-Bland School District were on the bus at the time.

The truck was driving in the same direction as the bus when it struck the bus while the bus was unloading, according to a news release.

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office said the driver of the pickup truck was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
