Non-compliant sex offender arrested in Moberly

Moberly police arrested 55-year-old Bruce Fischer after police discovered he was a “non-compliant” sex offender through Jackson County.

Police arrested Fischer at Triple L Storage in Moberly Sunday just before 9 p.m.

Fischer also had sixactive warrants in total. Four of those active warrants were for failing to register as a sex offender. The other 2 warrants were for traffic violations.

When police arrested Fischer he had a stolen chain saw, which was reported stolen from Johnson County, Iowa in October 2018.

Officers received a search warrant for Fischer’s car and storage unit where they found additional potential stolen property.

Fischer was taken to the Randolph County Justice Center. His existing warrants already set a bond totaling $4,000 cash/surety and $378 cash only.
