Mizzou freshman forward to transfer
University of Missouri forward Grace Berg will transfer away from the program, according to a statement from the women’s basketball team.
The release said, “Mizzou freshman forward Grace Berg has decided to transfer from the University of Missouri. Mizzou wishes her well as she pursues other opportunities.”
The freshman guard was the No. 37 ranked player in the nation coming out of high school. She was the No. 2 player in the state of Iowa, according to espnW’s 2018 HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings.
Berg has played in all 19 games for the Tigers. She’s averaging four points in 13 minutes per game. Berg had a career-high 12 points against Missouri State on Nov. 13.
