Police find evidence of shooting in central Columbia
The Columbia Police Department found evidence of possible shooting Thursday afternoon after they responded to a call of shots heard.
Police responded to the area of Sexton Road and Banks Road at about 3:20 p.m. When they arrived, they found shell casings, and two vehicles had damage from gunshots, according to CPD spokesman Jeff Pitts.
There were no injuries at the scene, Pitts said.
ABC 17 News had crews at the scene Thursday afternoon.
