Man accused in Morgan County shooting found in Arkansas
A man accused of shooting his neighbor in Morgan County last month was arrested this week in Arkansas.
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said it alerted authorities Tuesday in White County, Arkansas, that Revious Hamilton might be their area. White County authorities identified Hamilton on surveillance video at a business there and a person who had been seen with Hamilton on the video told deputies where Hamilton was, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Deputies arrested Hamilton without incident, according to the release.
Hamilton is accused of shooting his neighbor in the face without provocation Dec. 28 near Stover. The neighbor told investigators that Hamilton was cursing and screaming threats before shooting him.
Hamilton was in Arkansas awaiting extradition to Missouri on charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm.
