A beautiful weekend ahead for Mid-Missouri

SATURDAY: Heading out the door this morning, you will still want the jacket, but temperatures this afternoon will make it into the upper 50s, threatening 60 degrees in some locations. Grab the sunglasses too, since this mild weather will be accompanied by plenty of sunshine.

TONIGHT: We hang on to mostly clear skies into the overnight hours. Temperatures will steadily cool off back to the low to mid 30s with winds backing to more southwesterly direction tonight.

EXTENDED: Clouds will increase early on Sunday and stick around into the afternoon. Temperatures will stay mild despite the cloud cover, making it into the upper 50s once again. These clouds are increasing ahead of our next chance for rain, which will hold off until after midnight. Showers will be exiting the area heading into the afternoon on Monday, with sunshine returning Tuesday. Temperatures stay mild through Tuesday, topping out in the low to mid 50s before we return to more seasonal 40s on Wednesday. Another chance of rain arrives Thursday night and Friday with colder air to follow, dropping our highs back into the 30s for next weekend.
