Holts Summit police chief recovering after motorcycle crash
The chief of the Holts Summit Police Department is recovering after a motorcycle crash over the weekend.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 51-year-old Gordon K. McIntyre, 51, of Holts Summit, hit a deer Sunday on Highway 94 near Callaway County Road 475 around 5:20 p.m. He was wearing a helmet, the patrol said.
McIntyre was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
