Callaway County deputies arrest two for meth possession

Callaway County deputies have arrested two people for having drugs and several firearms in their vehicle.

Deputies said they were doing an active patrol near Williamsburg Saturday afternoon when they pulled over Eric Marshall, 40, and Taylor Turkington, 25, just before 3 p.m.

During the traffic stop, deputies found meth, various pills, items related to meth use, and multiple firearms.

Both face charges of drug and drug items possession. Marshall faces two additional counts of unlawful use of a weapon, as well as traffic offenses.

He has a court set bond of more than $28,000. Turkington’s is set at $4,500.
