Sunshine making a return to Mid-Missouri
SATURDAY: We have some lingering showers toward I-44 that will be tapering off throughout the morning. With temperatures in the middle 30s and a cold north wind this morning blowing at times up to 15 mph, you’ll want to grab the coat this morning heading out the door. With clouds moving out shortly behind these showers, we’ll see the return of sunshine to Mid-Missouri by this afternoon, warming us up into the low 50s.
TONIGHT: Skies will remain mostly clear into the overnight hours, so we’re going to see another cool night in Mid-Missouri. Temperatures will dip into the upper 20s to near 30 with winds relaxing tonight.
EXTENDED: Sunday we’ll see another gorgeous day with sunshine sticking around and temperatures making it back into the low to mid 50s. The quiet weather pattern will hang on into the beginning of the work week, as we get into the upper 40s to low 50s Monday and Tuesday so you’ll want to hang on to the sunglasses the next couple of days. A cold front will move through the area Wednesday, bringing a chance of rain and a cool down for the second half of the week.
