Boonville police investigating threat against school

Boonville police confirm they are investigating after a student threatened to “shoot up the school.”

According to the department’s Facebook page , the department was notified by the administration of LSE school that a student made a verbal threat to shoot up the school.

The student was taken into custody while the incident is being investigated.

The department went on to say, “The Boonville Police Department, Cooper County Sheriff’s Office, and Cooper County Juvenile Office take all threats to our schools very serious.”
