Mexico man accused of threat at school

Police arrested a Mexico, Missouri man Wednesday on suspicion of making threats at a school.

Mexico Department of Public Safety officers arrested Damion A. Linder, 36, at his home at about 9:30 a.m. on suspicion of making a terroristic threat, the department said in a news release. Police said Linder caused a disturbance in the Mexico Middle School office at about 8:42 a.m. and made threats toward the school, an employee and another parent before he left. A school resource officer was told about the incident, police said.

Police found no indication that Linder planned to make good on his threat, but the department is still investigating, according to the release. Linder was booked into the Audrain County Jail after his arrest.

Information about Linder’s case was not available in online court records early Wednesday afternoon.
