Man crashes into Osage Beach Eagle Stop

A 75-year-old man crashed into the Eagle Stop Convenience Store on Osage Beach Parkway Wednesday morning after he pressed on the gas instead of the brake of his vehicle.

When officers arrived, they found “significant damage” to the front end of the business. According to police, the Terry Roberts, of Camdenton, was pulling into the business when his foot slipped off of the brake and onto the accelerator. The vehicle then jumped the curb and crashed into an ice freezer, pushing it through the front of the store.

Roberts had minor injuries, but no one else was hurt in the incident.
