Several suspects assault Fulton victim with brass knuckles, machete, police say

Fulton police said they arrested three women and a man after investigating an assault early Sunday morning.

Police were called to Fulton Medical Center around 4:15 a.m. regarding a possible assault victim.

The victim told police he had been assaulted by several people with a machete and brass knuckles.

Brittany Boshears, 20, and Anna Raines, 22, both of Fulton, were identified as suspects and police took them into custody.

Officers then responded to the 800 block of Grand Street, where the victim said the assault occurred, and found two more suspects: James Collins, 21, and Taylor Durbin, 18, both of Fulton.

Police said all four suspects were take into custody with the following charges:

Boshears: two counts of second-degree assault and one count of making a false report. Collins: second-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a weapon. Durbin: second-degree assault and two counts of tampering with evidence Raines: two counts of second-degree assault and one count of making a false report.

All suspects were given no bond.
