Missing Moberly man found dead after car crash

A Moberly man who was reported missing Friday night was found dead after a car crash, according to t he Moberly Police Department.

Moberly police said that Donald R. McCreery, 81, was involved in a single-vehicle crash overnight in the 9000 block of Route BB, but wasn’t discovered until Saturday morning.

A Randoplh County ambulance took McCreery to the Moberly Regional Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries from the crash, police said.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is conducting a crash investigation.
