Power outage affects hundreds in west Columbia

Crews with the City of Columbia were working to restore power to an area in the western part of the city.

The outage was reported early Monday morning, covering a large area just south of the Columbia Mall.

According to the city’s outage map, 523 customers were affected by the power loss.
