Blizzard Warnings continue into the overnight hours… Threat of blowing snow continues overnight

TONIGHT: We’re continuing to track snowfall across the areas of Mid-Missouri north of HWY 50 this evening. Expect Blizzard-like conditions through 11pm as snow will slowly continue to taper off by midnight. We can expect temperatures to drop through the 20s and into the upper teens by day break with winds upwards up 30 mph at times, creating wind chills in the single digits by morning.

MONDAY: Winds will continue through tomorrow morning, and temperatures will start out in the upper teens and low 20s tomorrow morning. We’re tracking the potential for some slick spots overnight with roadways potential seeing refreezing by morning. But those issues should become null at 8am tomorrow as the sun rises. It will be cold all day tomorrow with temperatures struggling to get out of the upper 20s… winds will make it feel like the teens all day.

EXTENDED: We’re tracking a slow warming trend this week, with temperatures back to the 40s by Wednesday. However, the weather pattern become unstable again by the end of the week, with another shot at rain and possible snow by next weekend.
