Original reports said the fire might have started in the attic, and officials on scene said the roof of the home collapsed. It took crews 30 to 45 minutes to get the fire under control.
Moberly Fire Chief George Albert said this is the second fire on that street this week, however, the fires were not related.
There were no injuries in Wednesday’s fire.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
