Marijuana seized in Demaret Drive search
Two people were arrested Monday after deputies searched a Demaret Drive residence for drugs.
Boone County Sheriff’s Department Det. Tom O’Sullivan said deputies found more than 4 pounds of marijuana packaged in individual bags for sale and various drug paraphernalia during a search of a residence in the 700 block of Demaret.
Brian Shay King, 46, and Deonna D. Ramey, 48, were arrested on suspicion of drug distribution, O’Sullivan said. They have since been released from Boone County Jail after they posted a $6,500 bond.
