Burglary suspect scared off by Fulton homeowner, arrested

Fulton police took a local 29-year-old man into custody Tuesday morning for allegedly attempting to burglarize a home.

Officers were notified about the crime in the 2500 block of N. Business Route 54 a short time before midnight Monday.

“Officers arrived and found a white male by the name of Bradley Foutes kicked open a door to an apartment before being scared off by the homeowner,” said Sgt D.B. McGrath.

Foutes was arrested around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday when police said he returned to the home.

Police transported Foutes to the Callaway County Jail where he’s being held without bond on possible charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree property damage.
