Rock Bridge softball coach resigns

Longtime Rock Bridge softball coach Janel Twehous has resigned after nine seasons with the Bruins.

Athletic Director David Egan said Twehous chose to resign in order to watch her two sons, Logan and Trevor, play college football at Central Missouri.

“The job opening has been posted, but there is no timeline right now on when the new hire will be made,” Egan said.

Rock Bridge hired Twehous to be its softball coach back in 2009. Before taking the job with the Bruins, Twehous spent 11 seasons as an assistant softball coach at Hickman.
