Crash backs up traffic on I-70 east of Columbia

The Missouri Department of Transportation warned of delays on Interstate 70 eastbound east of Columbia Friday afternoon because of a crash.

Delays were likely at mile marker 135, the agency posted on Twitter. Traffic was backed up from the crash site to St. Charles Road. A MoDOT traffic cam showed another apparent crash at the St. Charles Road exit.

The Boone County Fire Protection District tweeted that there were no injuries in the crash.

It wasn’t clear what caused the crash.
