Columbia man suspected in armed robbery

A 23-year-old Columbia man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of robbing a woman in the parking lot of a credit union.

Dyran Hill is accused of hitting a woman with a firearm and taking her property outside Academic Employees Credit Union, 2804 W. Ash St., the Columbia Police Department said in a news release. Officers caught up to Hill near the old Toys R’ Us building near Stadium Boulevard and Interstate 70 and arrested him. The Missouri State Highway Patrol helped Columbia police make the arrest.

Hill was in the Boone County Jail on Friday without bond and was also charged with a probation and parole violation.
