Two people in custody after chase ends near Battle High School

Boone County deputies confirmed two people were arrested following a chase Tuesday night.

Sgt. Nikki Antimi told ABC 17 News that law enforcement found Gerald Sain of St. Louis in a house on Noah Court after he ran from a traffic stop.

The Columbia Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted the Sheriff’s Office with the search after deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle at St. Charles Road and Snead Drive. Antimi said Sain later got out of the car and ran into a home on Noah Court.

Albert Patton was a passenger inside the car and was arrested for an outstanding warrant on failing to appear in court.

Sain also had a warrant for his arrest out of St. Louis County, Antimi said. Online court records show an active warrant for Sain’s arrest due to a probation violation in 2017.
