Columbia Public Works to bring crews in early Friday morning

Columbia Public Works said it would bring crews in at 4 a.m. on Friday morning to treat roads.

The department posted on Facebook Thursday night, reminding drivers to use caution during the morning commute.

Officials said crews will treat, and plow if necessary, designated snow routes and other routes.

According to the post, crews will also play attention to spots where slickness would most likely occur, like bridges, hills and intersections.
