Columbia police confirm shots fired in central Columbia early Sunday morning

Columbia police are investigating a shooting in central Columbia early Sunday morning.

Police responded to the area of Gordon Street and Old Highway 63 shortly after 5:00 a.m. Sunday.

Police say officers found several shell casings at the scene. They also say the company Budget Blinds was hit by three bullets and sustained minor damage.

Police cleared the scene around 6:15 a.m.

Officials at the Columbia Police Department said they do not have any suspect information. There were no reports of any injuries in the incident.
