J. Porter out for season with knee injury
Mizzou forward Jontay Porter is out for the season after tearing his right ACL and MCL in a closed scrimmage on Sunday against Southern Illinois.

The sophomore was recently named Preseason Second Team All-SEC. He was the SEC Co-Sixth Man of the Year and a member of the SEC All-Freshman Team this past year.
Porter averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds per game as a freshman. He appeared in all 33 games for the Tigers in his first season at MU. The former Father Tolton High School standout started for the Tigers seven times.
