Continued cool, rain chance Friday

TONIGHT: Temperatures will drop back into the mid to upper 30s tonight under clear skies. Winds will be light out of the west up to 6 mph. In low lying enclosed areas, some patchy frost may develop through morning.

WEDNESDAY: After a cold start, temperatures will only climb into the upper 50s in the afternoon with another cool day on tap. We’ll have full sunshine though, making for a nice fall day as winds come in from the north up to 8 mph.

EXTENDED: We’ll drop back into the mid 30s Wednesday night with patchy frost possible once again. Abundant sunshine is in the forecast through Thursday with afternoon high temperatures reaching close to 60. It won’t be as cold Thursday night thanks to more cloud cover and a southeast breeze. Lows will stay in the lower 40s with a chance of showers after 2 AM which will continue into Friday morning. The better chance of rain will be south of HWY 50 but areas north could see a few showers. Rainfall amounts will be light with .01″ to .25″, highest south. Rain moves out by early afternoon Friday and we are cool and dry from Friday night Into the weekend with great weather for Mizzou’s Homecoming events! It will stay cool though as a northerly breeze keeps our daytime highs near 60 with nights in the 30s. Keep up to date with the latest forecast on-air and online with ABC 17 News.
